Hi! I'm Sarah Koster, owner of Koster Pottery. My love of pottery began in high school, which prompted me to pursue a degree in fine art. After graduation I had lots of “real jobs”, but always dreamed that one day I could make pottery my career. In 2013 I began working at a local art center where I had the opportunity to teach ceramics classes for adults and children. Sharing my love of ceramics with others reignited my passion for the form and my desire to create art full-time. I decided it was time to start a pottery business of my own, and Koster Pottery was born! I love to create vintage inspired pottery pieces that make the spaces we live, play and work more beautiful. All pieces are handmade and one of a kind. Most feature textures created by using vintage doilies, lace, or other unique patterns. All are designed to be both functional and beautiful. I am constantly looking for new ideas and designing new pieces. And I am grateful to be able to share my passion with you!
